Gli Oasis omaggiano George Best
Durante il concerto che si è tenuto a Belfast, presso l’Odyssey, gli Oasis hanno dedicato la canzone “Live forever” all’ex calciatore nord irlandese George Best, la star del Machester United, che dopo un mese di agonia si è spento al Cromwell Hospital di Londra, nel mese di novembre 2005.
Per lui è stato celebrato un funerale quasi di Stato, proprio a Belfast, Irlanda del Nord, che lo ha salutato con una presenza massiccia di fans, amici e parenti, accorsi da ogni parte a rendere omaggio alla sua salma.
Una proposta bene accolta dal pubblico quella degli Oasis, considerando che i fratelli Gallagher sono tifosi del Manchester City, acerrimi rivali del Manchester United, la squadra di Best.
